FDA identifies new Director of Management and Strategic Initiatives

Fast rising FDA leader, Heather Brown, whose experience includes 10 years leading strategic business planning and project management initiatives with integral influence on key policies, regulations, and program management, and recent experience conducting and managing operational studies to assess and improve efficiencies of FDA-wide program activities and functions, has taken on a new challenge.

Prior roles include:

  • Deputy Chief of Staff, Acting – FDA
  • Deputy Director, Office of Executive Programs, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research – FDA
  • Director, Project Coordination Staff, Office of Regulatory Affairs – FDA
