VA issues dual RFIs related to Veteran Facing Service Applications

VA has issued two RFIs related to Veteran Facing Service Applications.

One RFI seeks

The Contractor… to maintain the VSP by iteratively designing and building tools and features for the platform and launching them on a daily basis.

The Contractor shall:

  • Follow the practices described in the “Digital Services Playbook” (https://playbook.cio.gov). The Contractor shall be familiar with the concepts in each play and implement them in their solutions and support.
  • Incorporate Agile methodology and iteration ceremonies into all work, such as (but not limited to) sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review, sprint retrospective, backlog grooming, and estimating activities…

The other seeks

This Contractor(s) shall support the DSVA team in the continued creation, development, and maintenance of Veteran-facing Services.

The Contractor(s) shall provide VA with agile software delivery teams. The agile delivery teams will provide product and delivery management, systems architecture, software development, user research, user experience strategy, information architecture, interaction and visual design, static and dynamic content management, content writing, DevOps, data analytics to build new Veteran-facing Services and continuously improve new and existing Veteran-facing Services…
