The Press-Enterprise: Rep. Mark Takano poised to lead House Committee on Veterans Affairs

“… Now, with Democrats winning the House majority for the first time in Takano’s tenure, the 58-year-old former high school teacher is poised to become chairman of that committee, a role that will give him a more powerful voice on veterans’ issues and make him one of the most influential members of the House…”
