VA issues RFI for Enterprise Endpoint Protection

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) continuously seeks ways to improve the services provided to our Veterans and their families.

The current Enterprise Antivirus (EAV) solution is hosted in two datacenters consisting of:

  • East and West Coast instances located in VA datacenters in Secaucus, New Jersey, and Sacramento, California, with a rollup system in Martinsburg, West Virginia…

The Contractor shall architect, implement, design and deploy a VA Enterprise Endpoint Protection (VA EEP) solution hosted in the VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC) environment to replace the existing EAV.  The VA EEP solution shall be fully deployed and operational in the VAEC.  The Contractor’s solution shall include all planning, configuration and testing required to host the VA EEP solution in the VAEC environment as described in this PWS.  This includes supporting the setup, configuration of VAEC environments and verifying the development, test, and production environments.  Once the migrating to the cloud is complete, the Contractor shall provide all user and system administration training, support the national roll-out process, and application operations and maintenance (O&M) support in the VAEC production and non-production environments.  The Contractor shall provide uninterrupted availability and continuity of operations (COOP), disaster recovery, and backup for all applications, features, services, and data in the VAEC production environment for the duration of the Task Order (TO).
