Salient CRGT seeking Solutions Architect and Business Unit CTO

In this role you will:

  • Use strong project planning and estimating skills to include tasking, budgeting, scheduling, risk identification and mitigation, ability to think strategically, balancing of long and short-term priorities.
  • Make decisions based on capabilities, resources, and objectives.
  • Ensure programs are aligned with contract objectives and within Salient’s or customer’s business goals.
  • Provide leadership and design of complex systems.
  • Interface with the users(s) and all other stakeholders in order to determine their needs.
  • Generate the highest level of requirements, based on the user’s needs and other constraints such as costs and schedule.
  • Perform cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.
  • Design and develop solutions to application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
  • Develop partitioning algorithms (or other processes) to allocate all present and foreseeable requirements into discrete partitions such that a minimum of communications is needed among partitions, and between the user and the system…

Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline (or commensurate experience).

Fifteen (15) years’ related experience, to include:

  • Experience with federal laws that include, but are not limited to, Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) of 2014, (44 U.S.C. 101); National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations; Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-130, Managing Information as a Strategic Resource; and other applicable federal laws, regulations, and NIST guidance… Read the full job description here.
