In this role you will:
- Use strong project planning and estimating skills to include tasking, budgeting, scheduling, risk identification and mitigation, ability to think strategically, balancing of long and short-term priorities.
- Make decisions based on capabilities, resources, and objectives.
- Ensure programs are aligned with contract objectives and within Salient’s or customer’s business goals.
- Provide leadership and design of complex systems.
- Interface with the users(s) and all other stakeholders in order to determine their needs.
- Generate the highest level of requirements, based on the user’s needs and other constraints such as costs and schedule.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.
- Design and develop solutions to application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
- Develop partitioning algorithms (or other processes) to allocate all present and foreseeable requirements into discrete partitions such that a minimum of communications is needed among partitions, and between the user and the system…
Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline (or commensurate experience).
Fifteen (15) years’ related experience, to include:
