In this role you will: “oversee the work of hundreds of contractors supporting the work of the Program Executive Office (PEO), Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) and its Program Management Offices; provide overall direction and guidance for the development, acquisition, testing, product improvement, fielding, and sustainment of major ACAT acquisition programs , i.e., new, Commercial off-the-Shelf modernization and legacy IT systems; direct, develop, approve, and oversee Health Information Technology (IT) system acquisition strategies, goals, documentation, processes, and procedures to fulfill the requirements of the three PEO DHMS Program Management Offices; supervise a workforce of greater than 100 government civilians and military personnel, to include subordinate supervisors or military program directors; approve acquisition strategy, budgets, and program baseline for assigned acquisition programs in accordance with DoD acquisition policies and procedures…” Read the full job description here.
