GDIT recruits NIH security lead as Federal Health Chief Information and Privacy Officer

Melina Scotto, whose 20-year career includes time spent at NIH where she added her security expertise to the Center for Information Technology’s Network Access Control, supporting its mission to secure national health systems, has taken on a new role as Federal Health Chief Information and Privacy Officer with GDIT.

Prior roles include:

  • Master Cybersecurity Engineer – NIH/ NCI
  • Senior Network Security Engineer – NIH
