HHS ONC issues RFI for Enterprise IT Solution to support IT modernization and IT consolidation efforts

ONC is seeking an enterprise solution to increase operational efficiencies through IT modernization and IT consolidation. Cost reductions are anticipated with consolidated server footprints that leverage cloud and virtualization technologies. Consolidating systems typically includes costs savings related to eliminating or replacing some licenses. This consolidation also provides the organization with flexibility to quickly adapt to changing requirements, budgets, and staffing levels.

This RFI is intended to assist ONC in understanding the enterprise solutions available that will provide a holistic approach to achieving a consolidated, interoperable, scalable and customizable architecture that will meet the functional needs of ONC stakeholders and the near real-time reporting needs of the ONC executives.
