DHA posts J&A to issue Bridge contract for Configuration Management and Agile Support Services

DHA has issued notice of its intent to issue a bridge contract related to support services that are currently being provided under contract W81XWH-08-D-0032, Order# 0013 by United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) for; product oversight and support; configuration management support; and agile support services that are currently being provided by Irving Burton Associates (IBA).

The J&A notes that IBA is critical in ensuring that multi-level healthcare management information is available for Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) and the appropriate DoD decision-makers. The PM, CM, and Agile Support Team manages several health IT systems that make healthcare management information available by receiving, validating, editing, processing, aggregating, and integrating all data as a result of healthcare encounters for the military active duty, retirees, and their dependents.

The original contract was to expire on October 16, 2017.

The period of performance for this contract shall be for a four (4) month base bridge with two (2) four (4) month Option periods.

The incumbent, IBA, possesses the operational infrastructure and knowledge required for successful performance. The Contractor can continue to provide the support required during this short duration transitional contract without a loss of efficiency and negative impact to the project management; product oversight and support; configuration management support; and agile support. Only IBA can start performance within this short period of time and prevent a gap in services.
