VA has issued an RFI in support of the Denver Logistics Center (DLC), a cornerstone of whose portfolio is the DLC Remote Order Entry System (ROES), which provides web-based order entry and associated information management capabilities to the clinical provider/customer community. The ROES web application will be modernized to a new version (version 4) to provide enhanced functionality and position the application for growth in clinical programs and product lines supported by the DLC.
VA requires a “Contractor who shall create ROES version 4 (ROES 4) through the software development of the user application. Development shall build on design principles, workflow features, and logic components of ROES version 3 (ROES 3), to produce a version of ROES that incorporates emerging web application software technologies and makes DLC order fulfillment services available to an increasingly diverse group of clinical programs. The resulting application shall integrate new user-facing application functionality with existing back-office production processing and data management systems. Collaboration with DLC in-house developers responsible for processing systems upon which ROES 4 is based shall be an essential aspect of the scope of work.”
Responses are due by June 25, 2018.
