President Trump’s pick to lead the Veterans Affairs Department, Robert Wilkie, testified before the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee. He answered questions on several issues facing the VA, and addressed a Washington Post story about his participation in events several years ago in connection with the group, the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He said he welcomed scrutiny of his entire record, and took issue with the Post piece, claiming it did not include consideration of his work from the past 25 years. Watch the video here.
