VA issues sources sought for Professional Services for Engineering Services

VA has issued a sources sought to identify a contractor to “meet the mission of Solution Delivery by providing central engineering services and management of a technical framework promoting one technology vision across the VA enterprise. The Contractor shall focus on system optimization, improvement of design, testing, integration and interoperability throughout the enterprise and provide engineering services to VA OI&T Solution Delivery:

  1. System engineering
  2. Engineering assessment
  3. Standards development
  4. Deployment and operation of standard monitoring and performance assessment software, and associated analysis with respect to enterprise infrastructure, architecture, implementation planning and design
  5. Remediation strategy, development and implementation
  6. Skills transfer, training plans, and transition
  7. Establishment, documentation and implementation of standardized best practices”

Responses are due by May 25, 2018.
