VA issues RFI for Computerized Patient Record System Enhancements

VA has issued an RFI seeking a contractor to develop, test and nationally release the CPRS Enhancements Phase 2 requirements. The Contractor shall also develop, test and nationally release current CPRS versions that have not been released if the optional task is exercised.

Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS) provides an integrated patient record system for clinicians, managers, Quality Assurance (QA) staff, and researchers. The primary goal of CPRS is to provide a fast and easy-to-use application that makes available to providers the information needed in the clinical workflow process. The CPRS user interface is integrated with Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) to facilitate reviewing, documenting and preserving of coordinated care information and improved accessibility of online clinical information and results.
