RFI issued related to VA Mobile Applications Platform

VA has issued an RFI related to VA’s Office of Connected Care (OCC), current VA Mobile Infrastructure Services (VA MIS) and the between 20 and 30 mobile applications and supporting services hosted in the VA Mobile Framework (VAMF) production environment.

“The replacement solution for VA MIS platform shall be the VA Mobile Applications Platform (MAP) as described in this PWS.  VA requires the implementation, phasing in, and migration of mobile apps and supporting services into an operational VA MAP.  OITs ultimate goal is to achieve a Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) through hosting technologies within VAEC-AWS and VAEC-AZC as part of the VAEC.”

VA is seeking a “Contractor to implement, operate, and maintain the VA MAP including all cloud services required to support VA MAP operations. The Contractor shall provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support of all cloud environments that support the MAP as well as the infrastructure software contained within each environment. The environments will be hosted in the VA Enterprise Cloud (VAEC). The Contractor shall provide all software and support required to create and maintain an operational VA MAP as described in this PWS. This effort also includes an optional task for the migration of mobile application from MIS and an optional task for transition out services.”
