“Alex Azar’s right-hand man is taking on an expansive role at HHS, in what amounts to a massive power shift within the agency’s executive suite.”

“In a memo obtained by POLITICO’s Adam Cancryn, Azar announced he’s putting Deputy Secretary Eric Hargan in charge of day-to-day work across the department, including heading up regulatory development and serving as the agency’s point person for the White House and OMB.”
