NIH issues sources sought related to Grant Application Development System 3

NIH is seeking a contractor to provide the DERT (Division of Extramural Research and Training) with the required software maintenance and development support for Grant Application Development System (GADS). GADS systems include 14 applications ranging from over 30 small-scale queries to external-facing Web-based applications and internally used complex workflow applications that draw data directly from IMPAC II tables. The IMPAC II Database Consolidation (IDC) application serves as the consolidated data hub for the other systems, drawing a single nightly download of information from IMPAC II, and providing backups to prevent data loss. Collectively these comprise the GADS “system of systems.”

The Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The period of performance for award will be one (1) base-year plus four (4) one (1) – year options, for a total of five (5) years.

Responses are due by March 27, 2018.
