CMS Center for Program Integrity on how they are working with VA to help reduce improper payments

“Fraud and waste are unfortunate facts of life for health care providers and payers. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services have been moving steadily towards use of statistics and data analytics technology to reduce improper payments, and it has saved billions.
