Big movements in remote health monitoring and outpatient projects, Virtual DoD MEDCEN leader invites collaboration

DoD’s Virtual MEDCEN has been working hard to leverage science and tech to discover new ways to improve lives. “Not even one month in and we are making Big movements in remote health monitoring and outpatient projects” says Deputy Director, Jennifer Stowe, inviting everyone to join them in innovation.

The Army Virtual Medical Center launched at Brooke Army Medical Center January 4, 2018 and will serve as the organizational structure for medical providers to build virtual health services using new tools in garrison and in deployed settings across all roles of care. It will also be the test site for new capabilities and create a centralized program structure for the global mission of Army virtual health.
