Military News: VA suspends applications for new ID cards due to a large number of applicants

“The Department of Veterans Affairs has suspended applications for its new veteran identification card program due to a large number of applicants.

As of Dec. 5, a public notice was posted to the site alerting people to the issue.

“Thank you for your interest in the Veteran Identification Card! Currently, we are experiencing a high volume of traffic,” the notice stated. “We apologize, and want you to know we’re working to fix the problem.
