“The analysts are very bullish on Cerner, in part, because of its VA contract. The analysts believe that the company will see around $9.5 billion in VA-related revenue for ten to twelve years. That’s around double the total Department of Defense contract, which Cerner had to share. The analysts also believe there will be “evergreen” maintenance and service fees of around $500 million per year. (Note that while the analysts don’t explicitly source these figures, they write that they recently visited Kansas City for a meeting with Cerner.) Source: Politico Morning eHealth, 09/20/2017
