Vice President and Chief Operating Officer – National Government Services (NGS)
*Position may be located out of any major NGS office location (preference for Indianapolis, IN; Baltimore, MD; Portland, ME; or Harrisburg, PA; however other locations will be considered).
This position is responsible for strategic and operational business needs of the NGS core business which includes the Medicare Administrative Contracts (MAC), Health IT (HIT) programs, Defense Health Agency (DHA), and other Federal health agencies who enable the healthcare system. These segments include, but are not limited to, contracts with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services inclusive of the Centers for Medicare, the Center for Program Integrity, the Center for Clinical Standards & Quality, and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. This leader will serve as the primary customer interface on all segment programs.
The COO will be responsible for superior operational performance on all current contracts, while completing the implementation of new contract awards, contract modifications, on-contract additional awards, according to customer requirements. This leader will also ensure the business segments work collaboratively with the customer to develop innovative solutions to address current customer needs, operational concerns, or new opportunities in the marketplace.
In conjunction with the SVP & President, Chief Strategy Officer, and NGS Leadership Team, this leader will be responsible for identifying and evaluating federal sector opportunities and then developing, executing, and implementing appropriate operational plans.
