The Business Development Director for Health IT focuses on discovering, assessing, capturing, and winning new business opportunities in the IT healthcare market, with a specific focus on generating value from Pyramid’s SB prime contractor position on the HHS/CMS SPARC IDIQ contract vehicle. The individual works closely with Pyramid’s technical, operations, contracts, and Proposal Center staff across the entire BD and capture management life cycle to initiate and grow Pyramid’s health IT portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identifies new healthcare IT opportunities and maintains a priority-focused health IT opportunity pipeline.
- Leverages existing or creates new relationships with CMS, other government health IT officials, and colleagues in other private sector companies. Meets proactively with potential customers, understands how Pyramid can best satisfy their IT needs and challenges, and introduces them to Pyramid.
