POSITION SUMMARY: Director of Business Development for the Federal Government group is a seasoned executive with a deep experience and market knowledge in the Federal healthcare field responsible for driving new business efforts, identifying and developing new client relationships, and partnering with solution leadership to create and expand the market for Huron Healthcare Federal products and services.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS: The Director of Business Development – Federal Government responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating and identifying new teaming partner relationships and sales opportunities for the full range of Federal products and services within healthcare
- Cultivating new leads through prospecting activities and follow ups, and establishing and maintaining a pipeline that meets or exceeds targets
- Partnering with Managing Directors to transition leads into successful accounts and relationships
- Acquiring knowledge of account business objectives, goals, culture, decision-maker concerns, market and needs in order to deliver appropriate client-focused product proposals
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of competitors in market and client base
- Meeting with Teaming Partners when traveling to their geographical areas and touch base regularly by phone to help shape opportunity requirements and development new leads
