Truven Health Analytics, an IBM Company, seeks Growth Exec

The Director Business Development – Government is responsible for establishing relationships within the IBM Watson Health Government team, learning the various product and services offerings available, and actively pursuing opportunities to present a combined value proposition to prospective clients. The incumbent will lead and/or support the Government team in the identification, marketing, and communication of these proposals, ultimately closing these contracts and ensuring an effective transition to the Operations team.

Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  Develops the strategic plan and establishes key relationships necessary to penetrate the State and Federal government markets including: a) Develops relationships and networks with the IBM WH Government (Healthcare) team to understand the portfolio of products and services offerings; identifies and designs Simpler’s combined value proposition for the client; b) Develops national and state relationships to leverage opportunities within HHS and State Government.
