G2X TAKE: After bursting onto the scene last year with a $410M contract at CMS to support the Health Care Quality Information Systems (HCQIS) Infrastructure and Data Center Support contract, this small business has been diligently making key investments to position themselves as a major player across the broader Federal Health sector.

A VP of Healthcare solutions description is included above, but the same link also shows that Ventech has open positions for a Director for GWAC/IDIQ Contracts and a Capture Executive.

Ventech recently added Eric Sharpsten, former CTO for the Lockheed Martin IS&GS Health, after recruiting industry veterans, Jason Cullum, and Laura Bennett early this year to support business development efforts at CMS and across the broader Federal Health IT market. With many of the key pieces in place, this CMS SPARC prime is worth watching in 2017.
