NIH administration provides Feds with canned statement on Trump Transition

NIH TO SKIRTS TRUMP-TRANSITION QUESTIONS: For the first time in the memory of senior NIH scientists, the administration has told them to avoid commenting on an incoming administration. A memo from John Burklow, associate NIH director for communications, shared Monday with Pro eHealth editor Arthur Allen advised senior agency staff, “in the event you receive inquiries about what a Trump presidency might mean for your area of science, please use the italic used statement below:”
